Research
The main task of a lecturer is not only as a teacher but also his involvement in Research and Service. This is as stated in the Tridharma of Higher Education, meaning that the duties of a lecturer in addition to teaching and guiding students, lecturers are also required to conduct research and service to the surrounding community.
In line with this, to improve the quality of the Faculty of Engineering, lecturers at the Faculty of Engineering, Riau Islamic University are also actively involved in certain research based on scientific characteristics, namely rational, empirical and systematic. As well as the involvement of lecturers in Community Service.
