Faculty of Engineering
History
The Faculty of Engineering at UIR was established in 1964 due to the shortage of engineering graduates in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province. The first department to be established was Civil Engineering in 1964, followed by
The official opening of Petroleum Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments in 1986. For the Petroleum Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments, the teaching staff primarily consists of ITB Riau Alumni Association members, many of whom are also employed by PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia.
Since 1986, new students have been able to register in three departments :

In addition, the Faculty of Engineering at UIR has expanded by adding new departments. The Department of Urban Regional Planning Engineering was opened in 2006, followed by the Department of Informatics Engineering in 2007. Additionally, the Department of Geology was opened in 2012.
The Faculty of Engineering at UIR currently has six departments:

4. Department of Urban and Regional Planning Engineering (BSc), Accredited by B

The Faculty of Engineering (FT) at the Islamic University of Riau (UIR) expresses gratitude to Allah SWT for His grace, taufiq, and guidance in introducing all activities and catur dharma through an information website, which serves as the frontline of FT UIR.
The Faculty of Engineering at UIR is committed to becoming a world-class institution with an Islamic character. This vision is a natural progression of our past achievements and a response to the challenges of providing quality higher education in the current era.
The purpose of this website is to foster connections between students, student guardians, alumni, stakeholders, and the general public. The Faculty of Engineering at UIR is committed to enhancing its achievements and competencies to provide the best possible service to the academic community and contribute to the progress of the nation and state.
This website has been created through collaboration between educators, education staff, students, and alumni, with the aim of synergising Islamic values of being civilised, knowledgeable, and charitable. The website is intended to provide assistance to all those in need.
